How Our Network Works

Who Answers When You Reach Out

Traditioncarbon Garage Doors is a referral service, so it helps to know who you will really talk to. After you send a request, a person from an independent local provider gets in touch. That may be a dispatcher, an estimator or a technician. Each provider runs its own business and its own schedule. Request a callback to check provider availability, since hours vary.

What They Will Likely Ask You

Expect simple questions. It helps to have answers ready:

• What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, crooked, off the track, or will not open?
• Did you hear a bang, or can you see a gap in a spring?
• How old is the door, and is it one piece or in panels?
• Does the opener hum, click or stay silent?
• When are you home for a visit?

A quick photo of the door and the opener label can help a lot.

Questions to Ask the Provider

Ask first, then decide. Good questions include:

• Is there a fee just to come and look?
• What is the price range for this job, and what could change it?
• Can I have a written quote before work starts?
• Is garage door spring repair needed now, and is it safe to use the door until then?
• Will you check track alignment and balance during the visit?
• Do you offer emergency garage service, and how is it priced?
• What warranty comes with parts and labor?
• Are you licensed and insured where required?

A Safety Note

Springs and cables hold a lot of tension. Do not try to fix them yourself. If the door is stuck open or half open, keep children and pets clear.

The Decision Is Yours

No one has to hire anyone. Compare what you hear. A good provider is happy to explain the work in plain words and put the price in writing.
